Scott Burdick

Scott Burdick first thought of a career in law when he was 15 years old.  It was then that he realized that by presenting strong, valid presentations regarding a situation, he could help others who could not represent themselves.

He came to the Law Offices of John Phillips after researching the most respected & successful firms in this area.  After meeting John personally, there was no doubt in his mind.  This was a firm fully committed to building relationships with their clients, not simply “taking a case,” exactly the principle to which Scott had committed himself over the years.  This was a firm he could not only be proud to be part of,  but which represented people with the care and professionalism he stands for and where he could use his broad range of knowledge and experience in many fields.

His experience encompasses a Judicial Externship with a Federal Appellate Judge and various top attorneys.

His background of knowledge includes companies in industries such as home and commercial electronics, optical products, services and equipment, swimming pools, agri-business and more.

Scott graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law in the top 20% of his class and received a Pro Bono Award, Dean’s List and Dean’s Scholar honors.  He also served as student body Honor Court Prosecutor.

Prior to attending Law School, he graduated from University of Florida with a B.S. in Agricultural Operation and a minor in Business Administration and maintained a GPA of 4.0 in his major.  He went on to complete his Master’s Degree from U.F.

Before attending Law School, Scott gained much additional business and management experience as Sales Manager with an international commercial swimming pool pump firm, as well as General Manager for a chain of optical labs.  However, his earlier desire to be an attorney prevailed and he left “Corporate America” to pursue his dream of being able to help people who could not represent themselves.

He is proud to have served in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Electronic technician after graduation from high school.  Upon his discharge, he began his advanced education and is committed to helping others by serving as the absolute best and most caring advocate he can be.

Scott’s passion for helping his clients also extends into his extracurricular activities.  He and his wife are very involved serving in their church, in their sons’ soccer leagues and Boys Scouts of America.  They are avid football fans (Go Gators!), while both being avidly involved in their respective careers.

Scott can be reached at (904) 444-4444 or Scott@FloridaJustice.com.

He sincerely looks forward to meeting and helping you!
