Emina Sehovic graduated from Florida State University College of Law in February 2019 and began working with our firm; upon passing the bar in April 2019 she was promoted to Associate Attorney.
During her time in law school Emina showed her passion for helping people. She interned with the Public Defender’s Office here in Jacksonville, she also worked as a legislative intern for Senator Audrey Gibson who represents part of Duval County. Taking advantage of the opportunities at FSU Law Emina also spend a semester working as a student advocated ate the FSU Public interest Law Center specifically the Children’s advocacy Clinic working to help some of the state’s most vulnerable citizens. During her last semester in law school Emina worked as a legal extern for the Innocence Project of
Emina and her family came to Jacksonville from Bosnia and Hercegovina as refuges when she was a young child. She has lived in Jacksonville most of her life. She attended the University of North Florida for her undergraduate education. There, she obtained two bachelors’ degrees one in psychology and one in criminal justice.
She is fluent in English, Bosnian, and Serbo-Croatian.
Emina currently resides in Jacksonville, with her experience and strong interest in human rights she fits right in to our firm.
