Teresa Spencer joined our team in 2017 as office manager and marketing liaison, bringing a talent for complex strategic thinking.
From 2011, she served as a Senior Executive for Onmedia, a division of Mediacom business. She was responsible for account management, cultivating and creating television campaigns across 46 cable and satellite networks in the Midwest. She also consulted clients on digital platform marketing. She was extremely successful developing, creating and executing campaigns of this nature, always utilizing cutting edge technology, she is now known as an expert in programmatic digital marketing.
From 2009, she served as General Manager of KRBK / FOX 5 Television. She was responsible for building the first broadcast station engineered and constructed in the country after digital transition. She built a 5-year operational and station sales budget, overseeing the full build out, programing, all staffing, operations and marketing for the launch of KRBK.
From 2006, she served as General Manager for KWBM Television, a My Network Affiliate, where she achieved profitability that exceeded goals by 128%. She restructured the station to ensure superior client support, extensive product portfolio, and competitive pricing. Her complex marketing plans creatively shifted the stations portfolio, focusing on research, development and most importantly, the client’s return on investment. She also implemented program changes resulting in higher ratings, promotions resulting in gain of market share and growth during a turbulent economy. Spencer excelled in this position through skilled communication that connected her with key decision makers on a local and national level.
Spencer attended Drury University as well as Missouri State University studying for her Bachelor of Accounting and a Minor in Business Administration. She has been recognized with many awards and achievements in her career. Following are a few on the list; Leadership Award, Drury College 1990. Administrative Management Award, Missouri Health Care Association 1992. The Top Gun Sales Award, Radio 2000 1996. Greatest Hit Award, Quorum Broadcasting CBS/FOX Affiliate Group 1998, Outstanding Achievement Award, Clear Channel Communications 2003. Spencer is heavily involved with various local charities and networking groups in her spare time.
