On Sunday March 18, 2018, John Phillips was honored with presenting at the Greater El-Beth-El Divine Holiness Church. The topic was David versus Goliath. Under the principle that victory comes to the well prepared, John characterized David as not the underdog, but a hungry, but well prepared, soul fighting for his people. John spoke about George Washington and Harriet Tubman and how history has been full of David beating Goliath in the eyes of righteousness.
