Our award winning, friendly office (position located in Jacksonville Beach) is now hiring. We are looking for a legal assistant who is experienced in family law and divorce matters for our Jacksonville Beach office. At least 3-5 years of Legal Assistant experience is required, preferably in family law and divorce.

The Legal Assistant is responsible for the following duties, which include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to work in a faced paced environment;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to take direction from attorneys, paralegals and/or case managers;
  • Must have strong multi-tasking skills;
  • A general knowledge of the legal process;
  • Excellent phone skills;
  • Excellent typing skills;
  • Strong Computer knowledge with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Clio;
  • Is on time every day;
  • Can start working immediately;
  • Professionalism is a must for this position;

  • EXPERIENCED PERSONAL INJURY LITIGATION PARALEGAL

Our award winning, friendly offices (located in Jacksonville and Jacksonville Beach) are now hiring an experienced Trial Paralegal. We are looking for a paralegal who is experienced in personal injury and wrongful death civil litigation for our Jacksonville, Florida office with a background in Florida, Georgia and/or Federal cases. A paralegal certificate or applicable Associate or Bachelor’s degree is required. Justice Association membership, Registration and/or other leadership experience in the field will be rewarded. The Paralegal is responsible for the following duties, which include but are not limited to:

  • Experienced with trial preparation;
  • Knowledge of Florida and/or Federal and/or Georgia Rules of Civil Procedure, Rules of Evidence and Rules of Professional Conduct;
  • Knowledge of personal injury, civil rights and/or wrongful death cases;
  • Continuous review and management of case files;
  • Working knowledge and experience of e-Filing in both State and Federal Court systems;
  • Prepare initial discovery, i.e., interrogatories, request for production, request for admissions;
  • Journal deadlines for responses and monitor for timeliness;
  • Prepare deposition and medical record summaries;
  • Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, chronologies, deposition and/or trial binders for use by attorneys;
  • Investigate facts as requested by attorney, including experience in advanced social media and internet investigation.
