City Xtra Magazine held its Community Awards Ceremony, celebrating and acknowledging those doing work with and in the local LGBT Community. The black-tie affair featured an awards presentation where John was nominated -and WON- Best Lawyer. John sponsors this event every year and also gives a speech on an aspect of the fight for equality and justice.
